Sugihara 24″ Lightweight Guide Bar – 3/8″ x .050″ (D025 Mount)
Experience the legendary Japanese craftsmanship of Sugihara guide bars. This 24-inch professional bar is the ultimate upgrade for high-capacity Stihl saws. Machined from high-carbon alloy steel with resin-filled weight-reduction sections, it provides the reach you need for large diameter felling without the front-heavy fatigue of a standard solid steel bar.
The Sugihara Edge: Made in Japan
Sugihara bars are world-renowned for their RC60 induction-hardened rails, designed to withstand the extreme heat and friction of professional use. The polished steel finish ensures there are no hidden surface blemishes that attract heat, resulting in a bar that stays straight and resists rail “spreading” even under heavy daily workloads.

- Sharpening Files: Shop 7/32″ Round Files
- Replacement Nose: Sugihara T2-8Q Sprocket Nose
On a 24″ bar, maintaining proper chain tension and lubrication is vital. This bar features a replaceable sprocket nose (Part #T2-8Q)—if the nose bearings or teeth wear out, you can swap the tip rather than replacing the whole bar. To ensure maximum life of the RC60 rails, flip the bar every time you sharpen your chain to promote even wear.
